At only 5’6 Allen is one of the shortest players in the Premiership.   Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva will be missing from the squad for up to three months with an injured thigh said Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers but he will not be allowed to sit around the house and recover as Reds boss Rodgers has other plans for the 25-year-old. I was recently asked by a fellow Liverpool fan this question which I think is one that we would all like an answer to and that is where are the goals going to come from? The lack of goal scoring was one of our biggest problems last season with us only netting the ball 47 times even Blackburn managed to score more goals than us with 48. It makes you wonder what has happened since the Benitez days when in the 2008-09 season we scored 77 goals. The season ahead looks even scarier... Read more...
